Sugar Free Granola with Nuts and Dry Fruits

Oats offer a good gluten free alternative, they are incredibly nutritions and have plenty of healthy benefits. They contain large amounts of beta-blucans, a type of soluble fibre and can help reduce cholesterol levels and lower blood sugar.


Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Oats

  • 1 tbsp Quinoa 

  • 1 tbsp Mixed nuts – hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, brazil nuts

  • 1 tbsp Dry fruits – figs, apricots, 

  • Pinch Cinnamon


Mix oats, quinoa and chopped nuts at a low 150ºC oven for 20 minutes. Stir and put back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Cool and mix in the chopped dry fruits. Add a pinch of cinnamon for sweetness.

Serve with semi skimmed milk.
